The Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure moved to amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting therefor a new title, to read as follows:

Eng. Com. Sub. for House Bill No. 4662 – A Bill to amend and reenact §17A-2-13 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended; to amend and reenact §17A-3-4 of said code; to amend and reenact §17A-4-1 and §17A-4-10 of said code; to amend and reenact §17A-4A-10 of said code; to amend and reenact §17A-10-3, §17A-10-10 and §17A-10-11 of said code; to amend and reenact §17B-2-1, §17B-2-3a, §17B-2-8 and §17B-2-11 of said code; to amend and reenact §17C-16-5 and §17C-16-6 of said code; and to amend and reenact §17D-2-2 of said code, all relating to increasing fees related to motor vehicles; increasing certain fees related to motor vehicles, records and drivers, including registrations, exchanges, transfers, titles, license plates, decals, inspections, inspection stickers, records, recordings, releases, certificates, permits and licenses and identification cards; creating expedited processing fees for certain motor vehicle titles; creating fees for the issuance of duplicate or substitute registration plates or decals and duplicate certificates of title; permitting the Superintendent of the State Police to use funds from inspection sticker charges to purchase, equip and maintain vehicles; and deleting a requirement that any remaining fund balance related to inspections be transferred to the State Road Fund.
